The Tift Country Recreation Department has announced registration dates for spring sports. Registration will be from Jan. 19-Feb. 5.
Baseball is available for players ages 7-14, with an age control date of May 1, 2016. The season begins March 28 for ages 7-12 and April 25 for 13-14, with practices beginning the week of March 14 and April 11, respectively. There are mandatory camp dates for players, Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. for 7-12 and March 29 at 6 p.m. for 13-14.
Registration is $50 and multiple registrants in the same household receive a 10 percent discount. For out-of-county residents, registration is $62.50.
Youth softball is for ages 7-14, with an age control date of Jan. 1, 2016. Leagues begin play March 28. There is a mandatory camp date Feb. 16 at 6 p.m. for all players.
Registration for ages 7-10 is $50 ($62.50 out-of County) and for 11-14 is $52 ($65 out-of-county).
T-Ball is for ages 5-6, with an age control date of May 1, 2016, in a non-competitive league with no score kept. Leagues begin play March 28.

All registration for TCRD sports will be done at their administrative offices at 401 N. Victory Dr. Office hours are 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
